Post Malone and Morgan Wallen hit No. 1 with ‘I Had Some Help’

Post Malone has earned his second No. 1 single of the year with his collab with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help.” Malone recently hit No. 1 in April alongside Taylor Swift on the single, “Fortnight” (off Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department”), which remains in the Top 10.  “I Had Some Help” follows Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” as the second country song to top the Hot 100 this year

Wallen and Malone’s country pop anthem “I Had Some Help” debuted during a duet performance at Wallen’s headlining set at the Stagecoach festival.  The song opens with 76.4 million streams, replacing “Fortnight” as the song with the most single-week streams this year.  Per Billboard, “I Had Some Help” arrives as the 1,172nd No. 1 in the Hot 100’s history, and the 80th to debut in the top spot. It concurrently hit No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, marking Post Malone’s first No. 1 on the country charts, and Wallen’s eighth.

Additionally, Wallen’s 2023 LP “One Thing at a Time” returned to the top five, hitting No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 75,000 album units, while his 2021 album, “Dangerous: The Double Album,” moved to No. 5.
