Jack Harlow shares the music video for “They Don’t Love It”

After releasing his third studio album, Jackman, last Friday, Jack Harlow is bringing fans to his hometown in the first official video from the project, “They Don’t Love It.” Harlow announced the new album on April 26, with no singles or press leading up to the release.

Directed by Eliel Ford, the visual for They Don’t Love It features Harlow taking viewers on a mini-tour through the streets of Louisville, Ky., visiting his old schools, playing soccer and barbecuing with his family and friends.

The 10-track Jackman is a major departure from Harlow’s mainstream album of 2022, Come Home The Kids Miss You, which included Harlow’s first Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper, “First Class.”  That album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and earned several Grammy nominations, including best rap album.

Jada Pinkett Smith’s ‘Red Table Talk’ officially canceled by Meta

Red Table Talk—the celebrity talk show co-hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith, and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris—has been canceled after five seasons. The cancellation of the series (which launched in 2018 on Meta’s streaming service Facebook Watch) comes amid Facebook’s shift away from original programming to Virtual Reality experiences.

The 51-year-old Pinkett Smith wrote in a statement on Instagram: “We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disband. We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come. We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home and we’ll see you soon.”

Red Table Talk often hosted celebrities in the aftermath of a scandal. For instance, influencer Jordyn Woods appeared on the show when she was accused of cheating with Khloe Kardashian’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson in 2019. Pinkett Smith even addressed her own personal scandals, including her extramarital “entanglement” with singer August Alsina, as well as a brief look at how “The Slap” (that involved her husband Will Smith and Chris Rock ) had negatively impacted her family.

Taylor Swift joins The National on new song ‘The Alcott’

Taylor Swift has joined The National on the song ‘The Alcott,’ taking off the band’s new album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein, out now .  First Two Pages of Frankenstein also features Phoebe Bridgers on two songs, “This Isn’t Helping” and “Your Mind Is Not Your Friend.”

Guitarist Aaron Dessner previously worked with Taylor on her two 2020 albums, folklore and evermore.  He said in a statement:“[Frontman] Matt [Berninger] wrote the main part of the song to some music I had written which Taylor had heard and I knew liked, so I thought it might be something she would really click with. I sent it to [Taylor], and was a little nervous as I didn’t hear back for 20 minutes or so … By the time she responded, Taylor had written all her parts and recorded a voice memo with the lyrics she’d added in a dialogue with Matt, and everyone fell immediately in love with it. It felt meant to be.”

Berninger added that “The Alcott” is about “two people with a long history returning to a place and trying to relive a certain moment in time … It’s got the feeling of a last-ditch effort to hold onto the relationship, but there’s a hint of something positive where you can see the beginnings of a reconnection.”

You can listen to “The Alcott” now via digital outlets and via the lyric video on YouTube (here).
