The Chicago Bears announced that former Texas coach Tom Herman is joining the team as an offensive analyst/special projects. Herman was fired by the Longhorns in January after posting a 7-3 record in 2020. In his four seasons with Texas, Herman recorded a 32-18 record and was 4-0 in bowl games but never won a Big-12 championship.
Herman was a coach with Houston before Texas, going 22-4 during his two seasons there. He was an offensive coordinator and the quarterbacks coach with Ohio State, Iowa State, Rice and Texas State and was part of the National Championship Buckeyes team that won in 2014 and was named the winner of the Broyles Award as the nation’s top assistant coach.
CBS has released two 30-second excerpts from Oprah With Meghan And Harry: A CBS Primetime Special which is set to air at 8pm EST on Sunday. Winfrey has said there are “no subjects off limits” of her highly-anticipated interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The clips show Winfrey sitting opposite Meghan and Harry on the grounds of their California home in Montecito. In the first clip, Harry said he feared “history repeating itself” in a reference to the death of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. As he spoke of their decision to quit royal life and move to California, he told Winfrey: “I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you, with my wife by my side, because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her, going through this process by herself, all those years ago. Because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we had each other.”
In the second excerpt, Harry says he is grateful to have had Meghan’s support throughout his exit from royal life, while also expressing admiration for what his mother had to endure under similar circumstances. Princess Diana was stripped of the Her Royal Highness title at the time of her divorce from the Prince of Wales in August 1996. She died in a car accident in Paris the following year.
The 90-minute CBS special will be the couple’s first sit-down interview together since their BBC engagement interview in November 2017.
Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot is pregnant with her third child. The 35-year-old actress announced her pregnancy on social media Monday, captioning a family photo or her, her husband Jaron Varsano and their daughters Alma, 9 and Maya, 3 with the caption: “Here we go again.”
Gadot’s pregnancy announcement comes just one day after she presented at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. Gadot and Varsano celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary back in September of 2020.
Taylor Swift has officially canceled her previously postponed “Lover Fest” tour dates. In a note on Twitter, Swift admits that “no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the future.” An additional note on her website adds that refunds will be processed automatically. Swift first announced European and U.S. tour dates in support of her then-new album Lover in September 2019. After the dates were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she released two new studio albums, folklore and evermore.
Justin Bieber has announced his new album Justice isdue out March 19. Justice is the follow-up to last year’sChanges and will include the songs “Holy” (featuring Chance the Rapper), “Lonely” (featuring benny blanco), and “Anyone.”

In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet, we all crave healing—and justice—for humanity,” Bieber said on Instagram. “In creating this album, my goal is to make music that will provide comfort; to make songs that people can relate to, and connect to, so they feel less alone.”
The 78th Golden Globe Awards were held on Sunday, the first-ever bicoastal and virtual show. The Globes were hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler — Fey emceed live from the Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room in New York City, while Poehler hosted from the Globes’ usual location inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Among the big winners were “Schitt’s Creek,” which was named best TV comedy, and earned star Catherine O’Hara the award for best actress in TV series- Musical Or Comedy. Netflix dominated most other categories, with “The Crown”taking home the Golden Globefor best TV drama, in addition to leading actor wins for Emma Corrin and Josh O’Connor, who play Princess Diana and Prince Charles. “The Crown’s” Gillian Anderson also won for supporting actress in a TV series. Netflix’s “The Queen’s Gambit” was named best limited series, and its star Anya Taylor-Joy won the award for best actress in a limited series. “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” earned the best motion picture comedy or musical, with Sacha Baron Cohen taking home the acting trophy for his title role in the film.

William Byron controlled most of the final two stages at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday and won for the second time in 111 Cup starts. His first win was at Daytona last August and landed him one of the final spots in the playoffs.bByron entered the weekend as a 28-1 shot to win the race.
Byron, eunited with former crew chief Rudy Fugle, said, “That guy has been huge for my career. He’s the reason I’m here and I’m just glad we could get him.” They had their best year together while running the Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2016, winning at Homestead.
Tyler Reddick came in second, followed by Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Larson and Kevin Harvick.
Multiple golfers, including Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson and Tony Finau, wore red shirts and black pants in honor of Tiger Woods for Sunday’s final round of the WGC-Workday Championship in Bradenton, Fla. The 45-year-old Woods was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash last week that left him with serious leg injuries including multiple “open fractures” to his lower right leg and had a rod put in his tibia. Woods is still hospitalized in Southern California.
The entire PGA Tour grounds crew at the Puerto Rico Championship donned red and black for Woods, who traditionally has worn those colors on Sunday dating back to the early parts of his professional career. Among the golfers who arrived in red Sunday were Jason Day, Tommy Fleetwood, Cameron Champ, Sebastian Munoz, Patrick Reed, McIlroy and Finau. Bryson DeChambeau, Matt Kuchar and Day also used a Bridgestone golf ball with Woods’ name stamped on the side to further honor the legendary golfer.
24-year-old Collin Morikawa finished at 18-under par to win the WGC-Workday Championship on Sunday. Brooks Koepka, Viktor Hovland and Billy Horschel were 15-under par to end in a tie for second.
Amazon’s Modern Love will have a brand-new cast for the upcoming season 2. Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, Anna Paquin, Judas and the Black Messiah‘s Dominique Fishback, Minnie Driver, Mudbound‘s Garrett Hedlund, Midsommar‘s Jack Reynor, and Miranda Richardson are just some of the names announced for the half-hour anthology series.
Anne Hathaway, Andrew Scott, John Slattery, and Tina Fey were just some of the actors who starred in the first season of Modern Love, which is based on the New York Times column of the same name. Amazon announced a season 2 renewal in October 2019. Season 2 films in Albany, New York City, Schenectady, and Troy, New York, as well as Dublin, Ireland. The show will return to Amazon Prime Video sometime later this year.
Jack Harlow is set to perform on Saturday Night Live has this month. The long-running show announced that Harlow will be featured as the musical guest for the series’ upcoming episode on March 27th.
Harlow expressed his excitement on Twitter, following the news, saying that he grew up watching the series: “I grew up watching SNL with my family every weekend,” Harlow wrote. “I vividly remember seeing Kanye perform Love Lockdown and Heartless in 2008. Thank you for making this happen. Another dream come true.”
Harlow’s major-label debut, That’s What They All Say, was released in 2020. The March 27th episode of SNL will be hosted by former SNL cast member Maya Rudolph.
